Charter a Dream Vacation on Remission
Charters are for your Vacation. We ask a minimum of 4 days per charter, but you can stay as long as you like (we can always throw you overboard if you stay too long).
Included in your Vacation:
Meals. You will get a questionnaire prior to your arrival on your food likes and dislikes. But remember we will be traveling to the far ends of the world and not everything is available. We will do our best to provide an excellent dining experience, While food is included we may eat
out some meals in some locations and those will be at your own expense. Toys: Scuba with gear rental for Certified Divers, snorkeling, underwater thrusters subwing, Lift e foils, tender excursions, hiking/exploring and of course sailing are all included.
Accommodations:
You will have your pick of any available cabin at time of booking. Room towels for bathing and drying off after a dip in the sea are in each cabin.
What to Pack: We live on a Sailboat…..t shirts (plus at least one long sleeve to protect from too much sun) shorts and swimsuits. Cotton is your enemy so bring quick dry nylon shirts. You can always purchase some Remission Swag before you arrive. Pack light. We have a Washing Machine onboard so PACK LIGHT. Sandals, and depending on where you charter maybe hiking shoes. While on Remission you won’t be wearing shoes at all. Lots of
Sunscreen!
Whats Not Included:
Transportation to Remission. We will pick you up at the closest dock to Remission. But flights and transfers are your responsibility.
Alcohol:
Alcohol is allowed but you will need to bring it with you along with any mixers you desire. You may be able to buy some in Port but not always. But also remember to bring enough to share. We do have some Alcohol on Remission but that will be an extra charge at the end of your Charter.
Moorings/Anchoring or Marina Fees:
While anchoring is 90% of what we do (about 80% free) it is not always free. Some anchorages are National Parks or maybe owned by the Local Tribe.
Fuel: Fuel used during the Charter will be charged at the end of the trip. We are a sailboat so in most chases the wind is free, But sometimes there is no wind. Also the tender runs on gas. The Generator also uses Diesel.
Internet:
We have High Speed Satellite Internet that is available is most areas of the world. You will have access to this at a cost of $3 per gb.
Miscellaneous: Any Variable costs that Pop Up. Example could be some countries charge extra for you to be Crew on a boat. We have seen this is the Caribbean as the country will try to make up for lost revenue since you are not staying in a hotel. Or we go with the rule, you
break it….
Whats Not Allowed:
Falling Overboard…….
Smoking is Never Allowed, that includes Vaping
Drugs: Thats a no brainer but think about it. We are on a sailboat and things happen, so you must be able to help out at all times.
Pets
Bad Behavior: Remission is our home and we expect you to treat her and us with respect at all
times, and we will do the same
Any of the above happens and you will be put off the boat and will have to fend for yourself wherever that is with no refund.
What is Expected
You are part of the Crew. You will be expected to help out. That could be anything from helping in the galley (kitchen), cleaning up to tending to sailing when the Captain needs you. The goal is too have an Amazing Time and do what is needed to make that happen for you and
us.
Parts Delivery:
We will ask you to bring a checked duffle bag per cabin for us. We will have items shipped to you (boat parts, etc) that you will pack up and transport for us. Live Every Day Project: Also all guest cabins are “asked” to bring about $50 worth of supplies for our Live Every Day Project. We will be looking for School Supplies, Fishing Gear etc, to share with the locals. You can also bring Cash if you do not want to transport items, and we will add that to purchasing larger items such as portable generators or equipment.
Booking Procedures:
Check out the Calendar. Pick you dates and destination. Email me your desires via the pre booking form. We are always at the mercy of the weather and boat repairs. So the expected itinerary May Change. You need to know that going in. We will contact you back and if we all agree on dates we will send you a Confirmation Code that you enter in when you book your cabin(s). Deposit is due at time of reserving your cabin. Deposits are 2 nights cost per cabin. Final payment is due 6 months prior to Charter. In case of less than 6 months booking full payment will be required. All deposits and full payments are Non Refundable but changeable to a different date with a reschedule fee of 20%. No cancellations with 30 days of booking. Changes within the 30 day window will be 50%.
Charter Costs:
*Base Charge: $500 per cabin double occupancy per night $300 per cabin single occupancy per night *Some destinations may be higher due to remote areas costing more. An Example will be the Tuamoto Atolls. These remote atolls have a very high food costs. We cannot determine the actual cost on any location until we are there but in our Confirmation back to you before booking we will advise the potential extra charges with a Maximum Upcharge to be agreed upon.
